Hello,
I tried to use minisatip as a central server for local DVB cards and the OctopusNet SATIP receiver located in the same subnet. Unfortunately this does not work at all. I used the -s parameter to tell minisatip the address of the OctopusNet and used -D to set the device ID but still no communication berween the two.
Any hints, comments, solutions?

minisatip and OctopusNet - no communication
Re: minisatip and OctopusNet - no communication
Hi,
Can you upload minisatip logs?

Re: minisatip and OctopusNet - no communication
Hi,
apparently I kind of misinterpreted the help output for parameter -s. I thought specifying another server would do the trick and the two would tell each other what is available and what is not.
But -s specifies 1 tuner on the other server. After putting -s 3 times and enabling them "-e 0-2" in the command line I finally got what I wanted.
So the command line now reads
minisatip -e 0-2 -D 2 -o 127.0.0.1:2000 -s 192.168.11.222 -s 192.168.11.222 -s 192.168.11.222 -R /usr/share/minisatip/html
Maybe the help text should be adapted ...
