Digibit: minisatip7 can´t tune some frequencies...

Post by nickiman »

Hi,

I live in a Community building so the Satellite arrives to my home only in polarization vertical low (V/L). From the SAT connector in the wall I´ve cabled to LNB1 in the Digibit R1.

I´m running minisatip7 (0.7.4) satip-axe-201704251332-14 in my Digibit R1 device with this configuration:

Code: Select all

#
# minisatip
#
MINISATIP="no"
MINISATIP_OPTS=""

#
# minisatip 0.5
#
#MINISATIP5="yes"
#MINISATIP5_OPTS=""

#
# minisatip 0.7
#
MINISATIP7="yes"
MINISATIP7_OPTS="-7 0:1,0:2,0:3 -L *:9750-9750-12000"

#
# inetd (httpd,ftpd)
#
INETD="yes"

#
# crond
#
CROND="yes"

#
# nfsd v3
#
NFSD="yes"
NFSD_HOTPLUG_EXPORT="*" # replace with host or subnet, '*' = world

#
# oscamd
#
OSCAMD="no"
The problem that I have is that I´m unable to scan the MUX of this frequency 11.973V meanwhile if I connect the SAT cable from the Digibit to my STB I can see that channel in that frequency.

So, what I´m doing wrong?

Thank you very much for your support.

Yes of course...

But could you tell me where are the logs saved? I´ve found these two paths:

Code: Select all

/ # find / -name log
/tmp/var/log
/dev/log
And also, which command should I run in the sat-ip firmware to collect the correct information?... because I´m totally newbie :?
Thank you very much!

Hi,

Check if you have /tmp/minisatip.log.

If no run:
touch /tmp/nosatip
killall minisatip
./minisatip -f -l -l -l -7 0:1,0:2,0:3 -L *:9750-9750-12000

Then capture the output after the failure.

Thanks

Ummm... not sure I´ve got the correct logs... anyways here is the output of the commands listed:

from this route: /root

Code: Select all

~ # touch /tmp/nosatip
~ # killall minisatip
killall: minisatip: no process killed
~ # ./minisatip -f -l -l -l -7 0:1,0:2,0:3 -L *:9750-9750-12000
-sh: ./minisatip: not found
So, I´ve searched the command and I´ve run it with the complet path:

Code: Select all

/ # ./sbin/minisatip -f -l -l -l -7 0:1,0:2,0:3 -L *:9750-9750-12000
./sbin/minisatip: invalid option -- '7'

[15/05 19:07:44.072]: RTSP: Could not listen on port 554
The file nosatip is empty:

Code: Select all

/tmp # ls -la

I suppose minisatip7 is already running.
Run
killall minisatip7
Try to run:
/sbin/minisatip7 -f -l -l -l -7 0:1,0:2,0:3 -L *:9750-9750-12000

Thanks

Hi cata,

Below the link with the log details of the commands listed:
https://pastebin.com/raw/NjzUiigX

By the way, reading the logs I´ve found one thing that I can´t understand... what means these lines?

Code: Select all

[16/05 06:54:45.341]: reply -> 17 (192.168.10.2:54308) CL:1206 [sock_id 10]:
[16/05 06:54:45.341]: HTTP/1.0 200 OK
Date: Tue, May 16 06:54:45 2017 GMT
CACHE-CONTROL: no-cache
Content-type: text/xml
X-SATIP-RTSP-Port: 554
Server: minisatip/0.7.4-axe201
Content-Length: 1206
I don´t understand why appears this IP address 192.168.10.2 because this one... it´s assigned to an IP camera device. :shock:

If you need anything else just let me know.

Thank you and best regards.

Hi,
sorry forgot about the issue.

The parameters are 9750-9750-12000 seems wrong. The default parameters are: *:9750-10600-11700

Could you please let me know why you've set it as it is now ?

Thank you
