Support for FBC Tuners

Post by solut »

Hi cata,

just tried today morning to get my VU+ UNO 4K SE running with minisatip.
I was wondering how to configure the link between the master and slaves.

During reading some posts and studying the minisat parameters I saw you just commiting the needed changes :D.

Looking forward to download the build of these commits for testing.

Please inform, when done.

Thank you for this great piece of software !

Regards, solut!

Hi,

by default when running minisatip on FBC tuners, all the adapters are linked to the Tuner A physical input.

You can use -S to change that. Feel free to test and let me know the feedback.

Thank you

Hi cata,

did some testing and got some problems (log attached):
  • Settings:

    VU+ UNO 4K SE -> 2 Physical FBC Tuner -> 8vTuner.
    Unicable input only Tuner A (0).
    TVHeadend 4.3 as Sat-IP relay -> VLC.
  • Actions:

    Enigma stopped via init 4.
    Minisatip run by: ./minisatip -u 0:0-974,1:1-1076 -S 1:0 -e 0-1 -l http,pmt -F ./minisatip.log

    So only tuners A (0) and B (1) should be used.
    A set to Bs master (just to be sure...)

    Requesting Program on Tuner A --> OK.
    Requesting in parallel Program on Tuner B -->NOK (Tuner A still works).
  • Information:

    The frequencies regarding the Unicable switch are correct.

    In Enigma I have to assign all tuners as master/slave (tuner connection) this way: ...F->E->D->C->B->A.
    So I just tested A and B to be sure the link is correct.

    If I request program on Tuner B alone it's working.

You may have look...

Thanks, solut.

Hi,

Try without -S. In the configuration used by you tuner B (adapter 1) is linked to tuner A, so. Basically both adapters uses input A.

Try the same commandline without -S

Thanks
