Hello,
thank you for your great piece of software!
I'm just wondering, do you have any plans to support CI+ Interface with minisatip?
The reason is, more and more payTV provider start pairing their cards with their own hardware or their CI+ interface.
I found out, that many linux based set top boxes, already support the possibility to use a CI+ interface to descramble the channels.
Even some certified Satip server, like the http://www.satip.info/sites/satip/files ... _SATIP.pdf,
support the CI+ option.
Would it be possible to port this to minisatip ?
Cheers

CI+ Interface
Re: CI+ Interface
Hi,
There is same code in ca.c for linux ci interface but so far I was unable to test it as I do not have any hardware.
To test it you can change DVBCA=yes in the Makefile.
I am not sure if it works but you can give it a try.
Probably at some point will make it stable.
Thanks

Hello,
Thanks Catalin,
I figured out, that the easiest way is, to go with a german HD+ package, CI+ interface and subscription for a year, is less than 70€.
I call back, when my setup is done, I will link this topic to the minisatip project on github, maybe some other chaps
will dig into this.
Cheers

Re: CI+ Interface
Hi,
I am glad to present the basic implementation of the CI+ protocol for minisatip. The implementation is based on the source code of the dreamciplus plugin.
For this to work, it's enough to replace the file ca.c in the sources of the 0.7-ca branch to the file under the link http://dropmefiles.com/26k9n and put certificates from the plugin dreamciplus along the path /etc/ssl/serts
Some functions are not implemented, some require further development, but basically everything works stable for my CI+ v1.0 and v1.3 CAM's

Hi,
this function is not implemented yet, because i'm not have CAM that require PIN reply. But i think it's not so difficult to implement.

Re: CI+ Interface
Hi,
this is my first post in this forum
I'm completly new to the minisatip project. I'm asking myself how you loop the IP Signal through the CI+ Module.
Which Card do you use as Slot? just any PCIE? Or do you know some USB devices?
I would love to make some tests...

Re: CI+ Interface
You need a DVB card that has CI support. For usb: TBS 5990 or TBS 5980 (both are tested and working).
Both of them are supported with crazycat's media build open source drivers.

Re: CI+ Interface
TBS 5881 confirmed working too
Re: CI+ Interface
USB TT-connect CT2-4650 CI confirmed working too.
Finally I can watch all HD channels of free broadcasting stations on my 2K-Tablet
Great job Yuri!!! PIN option would be perfect.
