Startup sequence

root@vusolose:Init 4
root@vusolose:/usr/sbin# ./minisatip -d 0:.0-1 -l -l -R /usr/share/minisatip/html
[07/01 20:20:13.228 main]: Setting diseqc adapter 0 fast 0 addr 0x11 committed_no 0 uncommitted_no 1

Have via port 8080 sometime a DVBS logo but no further succes. Would like to know (based on attached logging) if my binary I downloaded here is work as expected and if my LNB config parameters (-d 0:.0-1) are correct.

This would help to eliminate other variants. Thanks in advance

OK,

Via ./minisatip http://192.168.1.97:8554 -d 0:0-1 -l -l -R /usr/share/minisatip/html and VLC Url rtsp://192.168.1.97/?src=4&freq=11494&pol=h&ro=0.35&msys=dvbs2&mtype=8psk&plts=on&sr=22000&fec=23&pids=0,17,18,5100,5101,5102,5104 I've some succes. /?src=<value> manual updated to value 4 (based on my info -> uncommittedDiseqcCommand=4).

After that I downloaded the sat-ip 19E list and replaced all /?src values with value 4. Now this Astra19E.m3u list is working for the FTA channels.

Next steps are:
- More satelites
- Oscam intergration
- Full playlist for player integration

Trying to get tvheadend to scan satellites via minidatip, but although the satin server is found and the satellite position has the correct ?src definition, Trying to scan 28.2E which is working on minisatip if ?src:2 is defined in a downloaded list.

Reconfigured another Openpli box and installed enigma2 SATIP plugin for it and configured sat position 28.2 on the newly installed/found SATIP S2 tuner B. Rescan of sat position 28.2E is running and I see on minisatip:8080 port also the switching between frequencies while searching. Experiment continues. Looking for a good conversion tool of sat channel lists to SATIP list.

Satellite LNB 1-8 Oscam Pi server
| |

Receiver 1 <--------------------------------|
Receiver 2 <--------------------------------|
Receiver 3 <--------------------------------|
Receiver 4 (running Minisatip) <-----|
192.168.1.97 |
###### Firewall ####### |

v
Receiver 5 (via internet) with SATIP plugin using Minisatip as virtual tuner

- Decoding channels on Receiver 5 is working if Oscam is running on Receiver 5 (needs to be receiver 4 in the end situation)
- Virtual connection will be setup via Zerotier

Above my to-be design (for the moment)

Currently Receiver 5 is working on my local network via Receiver 4 running via

"minisatip http//192.168.1.97:8554 -d 0:0-1 -t -l -l -R /usr/share/minisatip/html"

every free to air channel on different satellites.

As depicted, Receiver 1,2,3 & 4 all have a working oscam configuration with a local server that provides the needed cards. So far so good.

Issue:

Receiver 5 needs an oscam connection for the decrypted channels where I would like to set up minisatip to do that on receiver 4 so reciever 5 get decoded streams. So far adding minisatip options --dmx-source 0:0 -o 127.0.0.1:9001 don't bring that result .

Resolved via

./usr/sbin/minisatip http://192.168.1.97:8554 -d 0:0-1 -o /tmp/camd.socket -t -l -l -R /usr/share/minisatip/html

Instantly oscam start decoding the channels.

For others that want also use zerotier as virtual network for this functionality (if you are using enigma2 linux based boxes and installed the sat-ip client from the feed). Edit your zerotier network address in /etc/vtuner.conf

To-do:

Create channel lists
Check EPG and setup
Check remote recording

In my current situation I have zerotier as transport network which is causing artifacts on the client side. Within the local network it works perfectly. Router is already adjusted to facilitate UDP 9993. Anyone any tips on debugging this issue. Are there more suitable modus for minisatip to support streaming to another location ?

Hi,
if your client supports rtp over tcp then you can give it a try.

Little update for other similar projects. I did not succeed to get this to work over the internet this way (which is a pitty). I ended up with the tuner fallback option in openpli and zerotier (which was working 99.99% OK). Fallback tuner is the source/"server" and provides traffic between 2 boxes over Zerotier. Minisatip is VERY nice, but I'm sorry to say I had to abandon due to a protocol-issue as mentioned. Will come back here....
